Over the years, we’ve received a wealth of user feedback — some prefer the snappier, clackier character of the v3, while others gravitate toward the deeper, more muted sound profile of the v5. However, at Akko, we recognise that diversity matters and a great switch lineup should reflect enthusiasts’ full spectrum.
That’s why we created the Akko Creamy Yellow U1 — an entirely new lineup built around our latest understanding of switch smoothness, bridging the gap between them to deliver a switch that sounds more controlled and cohesive across a wider range of builds, making it genuinely more versatile.

New POM Blend for Akko Creamy Yellow U1 Enhanced Smoothness
The Creamy Yellow U1 uses a newly engineered POM blend that retains the material’s signature self-lubricating properties while refining the feel even further. The cylindrical stem narrows the sound profile, producing a more focused, low-pitched thock on the downstroke, while the reduced rail contact area paired with the modified POM top housing work together to significantly cut down spring ping.
